Solar Storage in a class of it’s own

What is Solar Storage? What are the specific uses for this technology? What are the market and customer requirements? The new patented Solar-stratified tank, the Pro-Clean^PLUS from TiSUN succeeds in the ability to maximise Solar Storage.

TiSUN presents for 2011 the latest generation of Solar-stratified tanks for warm water and heating. The Pro-Clean^PLUS in combination with the newly developed Solar Pumpstation `SLRH´ sets a new standard for energy storage – it’s compact, energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing. The Inventor of the new system; M.D. Arnold Teufel believes the motto: „A Solar Storage Tank must maximise Solar Storage and efficiency“.

The new design provides connections for Solar-stratified loading at the front, side connections for hot water, heating, coldwater and sensor thermowells as well as the connections to facilitate the coupling in parallel of a TiSUN PS buffer vessel, enabling the doubling of the thermal storage volume. The stratified solar storage tank is equipped with an in-flow diffuser, but also incorporates in-flow absorber plates to ensure a continious smooth flow of energy from the solar circuit to the tank. As with all Solar-stratified Tanks developed by the Solar thermal specialists TiSUN, the Pro-Clean^PLUS has between 25m & 40m of internal corrugated stainless steel pipe (depending on the tank size) for providing instant high capacity hygienic hot water on demand.

At the heart of the solar storage tank is the new solar loading pump station ´the SLRH` which is optimised for the Pro-Clean^PLUS to maximise the transfer of energy from the solar circuit to the tank. The solar loading pumpstation the SLRH consists of a plate heat exchanger, TiSUN Duplex control unit and two variable speed A- rated energy efficient pumps for the solar and tank loading circuit. This allows the SLRH unit to provide optimised energy balancing between the solar circuit and tank circuit, along with the ability to continuously log all system data for analysis. The SLRH is a compact unit which comes pre-assembled and pre-insulated. The Pro-Clean^PLUS is supplied with the patented 100mm TiSUN polyester fleece insulation, which not only provides for minimal heat loss, also contributes to the overall streamlined look of the compact system. The Pro-Clean^PLUS is now available for delivery from TiSUN.

The Primary feature of the new Pro-Clean^PLUS is the combination of tank storage with intelligent stratified charging in one unit, the highest solar return is guaranteed by the forced pump circulation and stratified layer loading of the tank circuit with variable speed pump technology.

With the proven TiSUN corrugated stainless steel pipe, the hygienic hot water and high capacity output design of the Pro-Clean^PLUS proves itself to be the latest generation of solar tanks from TiSUN.
