Thermosiphon system with highest certification
This technically straightforward system is based on the principle of gravity. The tank is installed above the collector and heats the domestic hot water via a rising, heated transport medium. No solar control unit or solar pump is needed. The thermosiphon system has a long service life and carries the Solar Keymark certificate that is valid throughout Europe.
Three different all-round solutions with tank sizes of 160, 200 and 300 l volume and one or two collectors each of 2 m2 will be available from July 2010. In proven quality, the thermosiphon collectors are equipped with high-selectivity absorbers, which are harp-shaped to ensure optimum energy yield.
The collector frame made of galvanised and powder-coated steel can be installed in a parallel or upright position and comes with a wide range of different mounting material for all types of roof.
The piping between the collector and tank is integrated in side covers, while the front cover ensures an attractive overall look.
The specially designed riser in the tank boosts efficiency of thermal solar charging.
All inclusive
A 3 bar solar pressure relief valve, a 6 bar pressure relief valve on the domestic hot water side, an additional 94 °C/6 bar temperature/pressure relief valve and propylene glycol 1.2 antifreeze ensure increased service life for the collector system. Stainless-steel strips are also integrated for convenient installation on the tiled roof.
A specially designed riser in the tank boosts efficiency of thermal solar charging and the enamelled hot water tank guarantees hygienic water heating. The hot water tapping devices allow efficient hot water tapping without destroying tank stratification. As always, all TiSUN components come from a single source and are therefore perfectly coordinated.

The electric secondary heat sources or TiSUN mounting brackets can be separately ordered for different roof types, as required.

There is a new child in the TiSUN solar collector family to avoid oversizing and stagnation of the solar system. The FM 2,00 module collector of exactly two square meters in size is Solar Keymark certified and bears the Austria Solar Seal of Quality, just like its big brother of 2.55 m2. Besides the certificates valid throughout Europe, the FM 2,00 also includes all the tested quality features of the large area collectors and the standard module collectors. It can be installed vertically and horizontally on the roof or as a freestanding version and absorbs the sun’s heat perfectly to meet requirements in the southern regions of Europe.
