The owners Kiveri of the familiar hotel on the island chose a solar system of TiSUN to save money and the picturesque nature. The restoration of the idyllic situated hotel was the reason for the mounting of the solar system, which is settling the oil heating. According to the calculation of the Polysun simulation software the system pays itself within 4.2 years. From 2014 on the hoteliers can use the sun’s energy for free, which saves a huge amount of energy costs. In order to not disturb the aesthetical ambience the family Kiveri decided to have a parallel mounting of the collectors on the roof.

The Hotel Mathiesn is in the centre of the village Obergurgl in the Tyrolean Oetz valley on a height of 2,000 metre. Recently the hotel was rebuilt. 20 new rooms and a TiSUN solar system were added. The large-area collectors are installed on the roof and on the balcony and cover 40 percent of the energy requirement.

The Valero hotel chain opened the four-star Hotel Aneto in Benasque (Huesca) in December 2008. Eight solar collectors were incorporated into the slate roof to provide hot water, which will cover over 70 percent of the total heating energy costs.

The spa area in this five-star hotel in Serfaus in the Austrian Tyrol offers 2,200 m² of space for relaxation with water heated by solar energy. Twelve TiSUN solar collectors architecturally integrated into the curving arched roof of the annex reduce the energy costs for hot water and heating the pool. In the shoulder season, the surplus energy is used to support the under floor heating.

The Panorama bathing area in St. Johann has two outdoor pools and one indoor pool with an outdoor swimming area. Together, all of the pools comprise an area of just about 1,500 m² and are heated by TiSUN solar systems.
